Living in the country's smallest county, it can be difficult to find things to do with the family at Christmas time unless you constantly search through the local papers and magazines. With lots of village, pub and fair events taking part this festive season, I thought I'd list them all for you so you know exactly what's going on and when in and around Rutland this Christmas.

Twinlakes transforms into all-things-Christmas with a magical Winter Wonderland with a grotto, sledging, gingerbread decoration, festive workshops, reindeer's, candy cane mazes and more!

What's better than Christmas related food and drink? Enjoy Leicesters craft fair, workshops, concerts, music and more in the run up to Christmas with the decoration town centre and Town Hall square turned into a Winter Wonderland!

Gift galore at the Burghley House Christmas Fair, a fair of winter wonder!

When I visit Digby Farm it's officially Christmas in our house!
There's nothing better than tree day. Picking the perfect Christmas tree in the cold with the family followed by a browse around the Digby Farm Christmas Shop before the decorating begins.
