Homeware
I love candles and I love Christmas, so you can imagine what I'm like with Christmas scented candles - a nightmare. I collect far to many every years and I've already started my collection this year.
I'm not a huge fan of food candle scents and I much prefer floral or fresh scents when it comes to burning them in my home. However, recently on a trip to Home Bargains I came across a huge selection of Wickford & Co Christmas Candles for only £2.99 and fell in love with a Gingerbread Candle!
![]() |
| Gingerbread in a candle = Heaven. |
They're the same size as the Yankee Candle large jars and for only £2.99 are an amazing dupe for Yankee Candles. Although they have less burning hours, you save nearly £20 per candle when buying the Wickford & Co ones instead. What a saving!!
They have Christmas scents in mulled Wine, Gingerbread and Christmas Spice all for only £2.99 each! Fragrance wise they're as strong as Yankee Candle as from the ones I smelt are on point with their flavourings and scent selections.
These Pickford & Co large years have a 95 hour burning time which is around 50 or so less hour than the Yankee Candle large jars, but you can't even buy a Yankee Candle small jar for under £7!
If you're a candle enthusiast (yes, I do consider that a thing) too, then I highly recommend popping to Home Bargains and checking out their candle selection as I also picked up a Halloween Candle for 69p as well as two more candles I'll be Blogging about very soon which are alcohol flavoured - yes, yes I know! Eek!
Let me know you favourite candle and if you've tried Wickford & Co Candles before and if you rate them for the price!

Having since moved into our first home (and before as well to be honest) I'm been obsessed with collecting homeware to add to our home.
I have a strong belief that pictures and art complete a home, and around our house we're still very much perfecting our walls with gorgeous unique art.
Then, I found Coconut Lane.
Love art and quotes?
Prepare to fall in love.
The first print I added to my basket was this 'Processo, Pizza, Pyjamas, Puppies' quote!
Literally everything in my life that makes me feel happy, loved and comforted - apart from Tom but I guess that wouldn't really work.
I love the font and size and I've already found the perfect home for this little beauty, on my picture shelf from IKEA above our bed.
Too cute.

The first one I actually added to my basket was actually this truly amazing Blogger quote which pretty much had my name on it!
I chose to get two prints because I love art displayed odd numbers; mostly three's.
But I chose to get just 2 of these based on the fact that there was two different fonts, and they really set off each-other and will look great on my picture shelf.
However, I'm so tempted to pop this one above my desk.

FIRST HOME PURCHASES
28.10.15
Since getting our offer accepted on the house everything has been pretty manic, but exciting!
We've been buying lots of home essentials and I thought I'd share them with you so you've an idea of what you can buy if you're planning your move!
KITCHEN
Breville Impressions Kettle
I'm really fussy with kettles and toasters as I think they're usually really bulky and unattractive.
I'm very style conscious and want everything in my home to be as pretty as possible.
So when I found this Breville Kettle I fell in love!
Perfectly Retro and matches our kitchen.

With the Kettle came a matching toaster which obviously I couldn't resist either.
It's a 4 Toast Toaster which is perfect as theres nothing worse than 2 slices getting cold while you're waiting for the rest to pop up!

Kenwood Dual Fuel Range Cooker
I was always worried about getting a cooker as I'm really fussy and particular with what I want in the house. Which to some might sound ridiculous but to me is really important.
I didn't want a huge bulky ugly cooker to take over my kitchen that didn't look nice.
Then we found this Kenwood Dual Fuel Range in Currys and I fell in love!
It's the standard size of a Range Cooker but with a huge solo door which is perfect for my baking and I just can't wait to get in my kitchen and get cooking now!

SMEG Fridge
A Smeg is something I've always dreamt of in my dream home and luckily we managed to pick one up for a 3rd of the price from eBay and it's utterly perfect!
I wanted the one door size which is ideal for all your fresh fridge food with fab compartment drawers and racks for everything you could possibly need.
Included a drinks/wine rack which just topped it off for me!
But also has a freezer section at the top for your freezer essentials.

18 Piece Dinner Set
I find dinnerware fun to shop for, I'm forever buying plate and bowls.
So picking a set so everything matches for the home was quite fun!
Sad I know!
We decided to go for this off white/beige set from IKEA which was only £20 for a Set of 18.

I'm always cooking, forever making sauces and chopping veg.
This huge chopping board from IKEA was impossible to walk away from.
I can't wait to have it set up on my worktop and use it every day!

The White Company Towels
As a huge The White Company fan I know I wanted TWC Towels in our house.
Soft and amazing quality so they'll last years.
The White Company recently had a sale on and I managed to grab a whole set of towels for a bargain price. I'm so pleased I managed to get them on sale and can't wait to use them for the first time!

Roll Top Bath
Our house is really traditional as was build in 1800's so it seemed only right to buy a Roll Top Bath for the bathroom.
We had a Roll Top Bath in our first ever home where I was born and it seemed a cute memorable addition for my first home that Tom and I bought.

BEDROOM
Duck Feather and Down Duvet
We've upgraded to a Super King Bed as Tom is over 6ft and we're both bed/duvet hogger's so it was the smartest decision!
I knew I wanted a Feather and Down Duvet for our new house having had them in several hotels, however was thrown back by them being around £100 for a Super King size.
But when in Dunelm last weekend we managed to find the perfect one on half price for £32.00.
Bargain!

Quilted Wing Queen Bed
I've had so many beds. I get board of them so quickly.
I've had 4 different beds in the past 4 years.
So when choosing a New Super King Bed for our New Home I wanted something I've always dreamt of, a Statement Headboard.
We fell completely in love with this Winged Quilted Statement Bed and can't wait to pop it in situ.

OTHER
Henry Hoover
One of my biggest pet hates in the world is hoovering.
So choosing a hoover was difficult for me.
As our house is scattered across 4 floors I thought a Henry was the perfect option.
A compact, easy to carry (and very cute) hoover that's not going to break my back carrying up and down the stairs all the time.

Our house is on a Street called 'Orange Street' so when I came across this fun striped door mat in IKEA for only £6 I had to pop it in my basket!

NEW HOMEWARE ESSENTIALS
14.10.15
As you saw on Sunday, Tom and I have bought our first home together!
This is the most exciting time ever and I just cannot wait to get in our first home.
As I mentioned in Sunday's Blog Post I'm a bit of a perfectionist and love Interiors.
I thought this for this weeks blog post I'd share some of the Homeware Essentials I been sourcing since finding out the good news.
I'd been creating a Wish List/Moodboard/Portfolio of all the things I'm loving and cntenplating for the New Home using Covet.me. It's the perfect site to simply and quickly gather all your findings where you can quickly and easily pop back and reassess them whenever you need.
So, heres some of the things I'm been collecting on my Covet.me Profile to buy for the New Home!
KITCHEN
I fell in love with this amazing Cook Pot when scrolling the pages of Habitat and noticed a huge collection of attractive cookware that is so refreshing and unique that I just simply have to have!
The combination of tradition brown accents with fun monochrome patterns of stripes and spots.
Perfect!
I love all things Copper and I'm a messy Cook.
So when I saw this Copper Spoon Rest, it's as if it's made for me!
Forever getting food and cause everywhere when cooking the stunning copper spoon rest could solve a lot of messy cook symptoms.
I'm a massive Pug lover and collect everything Pug related.
These expensive but amazing Salt and Pepper Shakers are the perfect talking point and crazy satisfying addition to my kitchen-to-be.
As I mentioned I have an obsession with Copper things, when I saw these Copper Cutlery from Zara Home my Cutlery Budget rose immediately.
Christmas list me thinks?
LIVING ROOM
Fur Rugs from Wilko & IKEA
Forever searching for a large Fur Rug, an not the tiny tacky £10 one from IKEA?
I think I found it. Well, I've actually I've found 2!
One 1.2m Rectangular Fur Rug from Wilko - £23.00 (here) and one Sheepskin 1.6m one from IKEA - £130.00 (here).
For me, both are a must.
I love statement lighting but I'm much more a fan of the industrial look myself.
When I found these Copper Cluster Lights I fell in love and can immediately imagine them in my New Living Room.
BEDROOM
Pom-Pom Duvet Cover from Urban Outfitters
Love Pom-Poms? You'll need this.
What is more cute and perfect in life than Giant Pom-Pom Fringed Bedding?
Nothing. Thank god for Urban Outfitters.
Dreaming of my exposed wardrobe space perfected by Gold Coat Hangers, thanks to this amazing value 5 Pack from Zara Home.
I love Crinkle Linen, I think it looks so high end but rustic at the same time.
Which is why I fell in love with these Cushion Covers from H&M I can't wait to have on my New 6ft Bed!
I love unique crafts and this stunning hand crafted jewellery stand really caught my eye.
The perfect subtle bedroom accessory statement to hang your beloved jewels on.
CHRISTMAS
Finding out we'll be in our New Home for Christmas really did pop the cherry and sprinkles on top for me and I began planning my Christmas theme already!
Whether you're a craft fanatic or minimalist lover (or both like me), you'll love these ceramic baubles with rustic string ties. Perfect for designing your own christmas designs on or simply just hanging from the tree for that plain, minimalist matte effect, I just need them.
Antler Tree Decoration from The Range
I love rustic finishes when Christmas Decorating and I definitely will be investing in a few of these unique Stag Antlers to pop on my tree, especially as they're only £1.29.
I think stockings are one of the cutest and most special parts of Christmas and I fell in love with these Rustic Hessian Stockings from Tesco for only £8.50.
That's just a few things I'm hoping to purchase for my move to my First Home!
I hope you enjoyed it! To keep up with the other things I've been loving make sure to follow me on social media and keep checking out my Covet.me Profile for more recent interiors finds!

PRIMARK HOME & BEAUTY HAUL
16.8.15
I'm been a huge Primark Fan since I my love for shopping an fashion blossomed in my very early teens. I've always love the variety and accessibility of affordably fashionable clothing and a store you can rely on for all your fashionable basic essentials all year round.
I've been even more of a fan of Primark, now much older in my early 20's since they've brought out there Home Range. With a passion for interiors and design have falling in love with it for affordable Homeware.
Even more recently fallen even more (didn't think this was possible) in love with Primark since they've launched their P.S Love Beauty Collection.
However, the only problem with Primark's Home & Beauty Ranges are you have to head to the more larger store to get the best variety as many hardly stock any of the Homeware Range and minimal amounts of the P.S Love Beauty Range.
My local store Primark Corby has a very minimal range of Primark's Home & Beauty.
So when we ventured to Leicester this weekend which has 3 Floors of Primark Perfection I made sure I went round every single bit of the Home & Beauty Sections.
So on that trip to my favourite affordable shop I surprisingly indulged in a little spree in the Home & Beauty Departments!
So heres a Primark Home & Beauty Haul of all the goodies I bought!
I've been in love with Candles for the past 18 Months or so.
But when I 'in love' I'm mean a completely over the top obsession!
So when I saw this White Cardamon & Sage Candle in Primark with a Wooden Lid and simple but stylishly effective packaging for £4.00 it went straight in my basket!
I got home and lit it straight away! It has a The White Company feel about it not only from the packaging but from the scent, it burns so nicely.
This week I revamped my Dressing Room into a Dressing Room come Living Room for my Boyfriend as a surprise! So he now has his own little 'Chill Zone' with our New TV & Xbox One in situ in our own little living space.
With a new living space comes the need (or any excuse) to buy new coasters!
I picked up this Set of 4 Retro Style Cork Drinks Coasters for £2.00.
With a passionate for Interiors (I also work Full Time in a Furniture & Interiors Shop) comes an addiction to knowing what's hot and what's not!
You'll probably know that initial and alphabet ornaments are crazy popular at the moment as well as a huge trend of copper! So when I saw this Copper Ampersand in Primark for £4.00 it went straight in my basket!
Oliver Bonas do one very similar for a much less afforable price.
I had to have this!
These 3 Items have all gone straight into our New 'Chill Zone' and look perfect together with the similar colourings from the wood, cork and copper.
But they also look so expensive for only £10 worth of attractive Homeware!
Next, I ventured up to the 2nd Floor which is had a huge Beauty Section!
In my July Favourites I mentioned my love for Primark's P.S Love Beauty because I hardly hear it raved about apart from on Becca Rose's YouTube Channel.
I loved their P.S Love Matte Long Last Lipstick in a Nude Shade so when I saw these other shades I had to add them to my collection!
As a Red Lipstick lover I picked up the Red Shade in Rouge à Lévres and then went for the the Pink Shade in Pink Fizz. They're called 'Matte' however I think they're more of a 'Semi Matte' finished.
They're creamy and not drying and do last really, really well!
For a £2.00 Lipstick they also have great pigmentation and I can't wait to wear them.
A bright pink Facial Cleansing Pad then caught my eye for £1.50.
However I'm not going to use it as a Facial Cleanser I'm going to use it as a Brush Cleaner!
I think the textured bristles will be perfect for cleaning my makeup brushes and for £1.50 I took the risk! So if it works well, I'm sure you'll see it in my August Favourites, but I'll keep you posted!
Next I picked up 2 Velvet Matte Lip Crayons in Shades Pink & Red.
As you can see from the swatches they're so pigmented.
The Red a coral orange shade perfect for Summer or to brighten up a dull look in Winter.
The Pink a berry red which is the perfect shade for Summer or Autumn.
I own 2 of Maybelline's Matte Balms and these P.S Love Beauty Velvet Matte Crayons are much more pigmented and have more staying power, and at £2.00 Each I couldn't resist.
I've been loving Primark's P.S Love Lip Liners recently, as you saw in my July Favourites.
They've got great pigment and I think they are so, so similar to MAC's Lip Liners, and I know thats a big statement. But try them!
I own 4 different shades already but saw this shade in Pink for £1.00 and thought it definitely needed to be added to my collection as it's going to be perfect with the Velvet Lip Crayon & Lipstick I'd already popped in my basket!
In my June Favourites I mentioned my love for Primark's P.S Love Foundation Stick.
It's £2.50 of complete makeup perfection!
With high coverage and a creaming bendable constancy, it's so amazing.
I don't use it as a Foundation though, I think it's the best concealer I own and has completely taken over from my beloved Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.
I buy the P.S Love Foundation Stick in Shade Fair rather than the Dark Shade.
However, you could buy both as the Dark Shade would make an amazing Light Contour like the New Tyra Banks Contour Stick but for only £2.50!
Continuing my obsession with Copper, I picked up this adorable Metallic Copper Brush/Pen Holder for £2.00 which I though would make the perfect home for my Makeup Brushes or equally a Pen Holder on my Desk.
It's Copper and £2.00... I had to right?
We recently bought a new fridge and when it returned home with my only specification of a Ice Dispenser missing I began buying loads of Ice Trays. As a Gin & Tonic drinker I get through a lot of ice! So when I saw this far too cute Pineapple Ice Tray I put it straight in my basket without even checking the price. To be pleasantly surprised at the checkout to find it was on Sale for 50p!
I love rustic interiors like boxes and wooden items.
When I saw this Hessian Bucket Pot for £3.00 I thought of so many uses for it in my home I had to have it! I'm going to use it to put my Makeup and Cosmetics in on my display table and think it would make the perfect bedside accessory to for your jewellery and things!
I love Primark's Lip Liners, but I've not tried Primark's Eye Liners!
This little summery 2 Pack of Eyeliners in White & Gold with a Sharpener called out to me for £1.50 so I thought if I'm going to love them as much as I love the Lip Liners this is going to be a good purchase! So, I'll keep you informed!
Lastly, if you've followed my Blog or Instagram from the start then this will not be a surprise.
But I completely and utterly adore Primark's P.S Love Nail Range!
You really can't beat it! £1.00 for a Pack of 24 of the most fun, fashionable and adorable Nails?
I've been wearing them since they launched. They're so amazing!
They come in the most fun designs and theres always, always brand new designs, I practically collect them! So this week I picked up 4 of my Favourite Designs to stock up on.
Stiletto French Tip, Pineapple's, Ice Creams and Polka Dots!
Whether you're a Primark fan like me, or maybe you're not!
I hope this has given you some New Home & Beauty Ideas to check out next time your in Primark or maybe it's given you a reason to go in!
Let me know if you pick up any of these next time you go in or if you've bought any amazing Home & Beauty Items recently you think I'd like but tagging me on Twitter and Instagram.
Thanks for reading!
