Blogging

MY FAVOURITE BLOGGERS & YOUTUBERS

18.12.16

I've been blogging for nearly 3 years - Shit. How did that happen?
Over the years I've fallen in love with the all of it, especially the people.
As a blogger sometimes I find it hard to find new content to read from different blogs and I rely a lot on recommendations, especially from Twitter. I love reading blog post of peoples favourite Bloggers so I thought the feeling could be mutual, so I thought I'd write my own!

So here, are my favourite Bloggers!

Who's your favourite Blogging guy or gal?
1. She's bloody lovely!
2. Her style is on point
I think I've been aware of Char for about 2 years now? I think that adds up.
Firstly from her Instagram - which is complete goals by the way.
She travels and dresses fierce but what I love most about Char is she is exactly as you expect her to be in person, a bloody lovely human being.
We went to an event last year together and it was super nice to need each other finally and it's so nice to see her doing so well. This is why I love social media, because you can keep in touch.
Her style is unique and we have very similar tastes, she puts clothes together and makes them work, even when they shouldn't.
Char also has a YouTube Channel of her travel and fashion tips and tricks, which you need to check out as well as her blog.

Helen is someone I've discovered this year on YouTube from a Twitter follower who introduced me to her vlogs, and I've been watching ever since.
I think YouTube is a great way to find people who have similarities to you even though you've never met them, and vlogs allow you to do that and really get to know people.
Helen's style is epic and I love her individuality. She daily vlogs with honesty and share her whole life on the internet which has to be admired.
There is no filter with Helen's channel and she says it as it is and I think that's why she's so likeable, she's a swear-aholic like me too. LOL

A dear Blogging friend of mine, introduced to me by my Blogger bestie Amanda Bootes. Later did we find out that we live minutes away from each other which doesn't happen when you live where I live. The closest Blogger I've met before lives 100 miles away.
Chloe is super dedicated and a very talented beauty Blogger. If you want any tips on beauty products she's the gal to go to. Her blog and Instagram is stunning with great content and impressive photography, she's definitely one to watch.

After falling in love with Hannah's blog and YouTube Channel this year I later realised we actually met at a Habitat Event in 2015 which I totally forgot about - #badblogger.
Hannah's a blogger that has gone from strength to strength and I absolutely love her content.
Her vlogs are so engaging to watch and she had an addictive positive personality. But not only that she has great style tips too and it's lovely to see a blogger who love high street brands for once.

I'm sure you've heard of Sophie, she's an absolute babe and I'll be shocked if you don't know who she is already. As in 2016 she's been all over the place succeeding through her new found success, and she's nailing it.
Her hair and makeup tips and videos are perfect even if you have 5 minutes and no experience because she makes it all super easy to do - even I can do it.
Her style is one of a kind as she really is a real life mermaid with hair to match.
Following her on Instagram for ages has introduced me to some amazing brands and makeup ideas I wouldn't have found anywhere else.
She really is one to watch, and I expect that 2017 really with be her year and we'll be seeing so much more of her.

I didn't know Brogan until I found her YouTube Channel through our mutual friend, Jess (CopperGarden). We met last year at the Beauty Blogger Awards where we were both finalists.
Brogan is the queen of weekly vlogging and is who inspired me to launch mine. She is super honest and shares it all on her weekly vlogs and I think that's what adds to her being so loveable.
She's a lovely person and has a lot of time for people and her viewers which comes across in her content. Recently winning the Cosmo Influencer Awards 2016 we'll be seeing so much more of her.
You should 100% Subscribe to her Channel.

Lily Melrose is one of my favourite YouTubers her Channel is amazing and I think I enjoy watching her Channel so much because we have so much in common especially with style.
She knows her stuff and I love how normal and real she is a person in her videos. She tries a lot of challenges and tutorials but not in a tacky or over the top way, which I think is refreshing to viewers like me in our twenties.

Jess is the Blogger most recent to my favourites list after we started following each other on Instagram after speaking to mutual friends in a group chat.
Her photography is on point and her blog is stunning.
Fashion, beauty and travel - basically everything I love. Jess' Blog is one with something for everyone and if you love her blog you'll be obsessed with her Instagram feed too.
She's definitely one to watch!

I actually discovered Nixalina after watching UK's Dating in the Dark a few months back and managed to find her blog after enjoying her on the show.
Now in my 20's I've realised my interests change since I started my blog and Nixalina's blog is definitely a step up from the ones I used to read, in my first year or two into blogging.
Love life, fashion, dating and sex it's definitely content of my age group and I find that refreshing.
Nixalina has won and been nominated for many awards and that truly shows in her work. She seems like a fun person who's very comfortable in herself, and the Blogging world needs more of that.

So, that's it!
They're a list of my current favourite Bloggers and YouTubers.
Please let me know who your current favourites are in the comments so I have some new blogs and channels to follow.

Merry Christmas!

Thanks for reading,

Charlie xo

MY TOP 5 TIPS TO STARTING A BLOG

17.1.16

This year my blog will turn 2, which to me is strange because it feel like I've been blogging forever and rewarding because I'm still here, writing weekly, still gushing with passion!

The hardest thing about blogging is;
1. Starting a Blog
2. Staying Positive & Motivated

So, I thought I'd share with you My Top 5 Tips to Starting a Blog whether you've started a blog or thinking about starting one, hopefully these tips can help you!

TOP 5 TIPS:

1. Go for it!
This is the hardest step.
Feeling like you can start a blog, all these questions will go through your head;
'How do I start it?'
'What shall I call it?'
'Will anyone read it?'
'Wordpress or Blogger?'
Just go for it! If it's not for you you're not a failure, and if it's not for you... You tried!
You never know, you could just 'try it' like I did, and it become your new favourite past time, hobby and something you aspire to be your full time job one day!
All you really need to do is pick a platform; Blogger or WordPress, choose a Blog Name and... write!
That's it!

2. Keep your head up
It's not easy at the start. It can be quite demotivating seeing only a couple of people a day read your blog and can make you think you're not cut out for it.
Everyone has to start somewhere, at one time 'all experts were beginners'.

Remember:
If you're struggling with the lack of view initially.
Tell your friends, family and share it on your social media.
Remeber, if you don't promote it, no one will see it!

3. Love Bloggers!
Chat to other Bloggers.
Share your hobby, thoughts, experiences, tips and advice etc
Talking other Bloggers really helped me from the start.
It's a really welcoming and supportive community and Twitter is the best place for it.
Join in on Twitter Chat Hashtags like #fblchat etc
It's surprising how much motivation you get just from making friends with likeminded people.

4. Stick to a Schedule
The best choice I ever made was to publish my blog post on a Sunday and a Wednesday at a set time of 6:00pm. This way, my readers know when I've posted a post even if they've not seen my tweets.
They know I upload twice a week on a Sunday and Wednesday evening so they know when to tune in!

5. Write what you LOVE
Don't worry if you're worrying about your content or your english skills.
You don't have to be an award winning author to write a blog.
Just be confident, write what you love!
Write what you'd like to read, as it's likely people would like to read the same too!

So, that's my Top 5 Tips for Starting a Blog!
I hope this has helped some of your who're questioning starting a Blog or are in the beginner blogging rut.
Stick at it, you're great!

NEW YEAR, FRESH LOOK

23.12.15 Stamford, Lincolnshire PE9 1XP, UK

I'm not really one for New Years resolutions, I like to use the entrance into a New Year as a mark for a fresh start and fresh outlook.

Since October my life has been manic with getting a puppy, buying my first home and deciding to complete renovate and update our first home before we move in.
Everything has felt completely crazy, and my blog suffered for a couple of months due to my manic life.

So with the New Year, a new Puppy,  New House, turning 21 and what feels like my first proper fresh start in life, It feels like the perfect time to freshen up everything.

So, heres to a New Blog Style, Theme, and Logo.
The NEW 2016 update for www.styledbycharlie.com
I hope you like it!

I started my Blog at 19 as a nervous 'Blogging Newbie' as a Fashion Blog, an extension to my Instagram really.
Then I became addicted to Blogging, I was obsessed with all things, everything Blogs!
I followed some amazing bloggers, new and established and was constantly inspired.
My blog quickly evolved into an inspiration zone of not only fashion but beauty, baking, recipes, and more recently - Interiors.

I've decided that this is the perfect opportunity to update, upgrade and start fresh with New Content, New Topics, New Ideas, but still with familiar post from the old styledbycharlie.com, as well as much, much more of the New and a hell of a lot of Interiors & Home Posts.

Thanks for coming on this new crazy journey with me.

I'm so grateful.

Have an amazing Christmas, and a very Happy New Year!

TOP 10 ESSENTIALS FOR BLOGGING BEGINNERS

28.5.15

I've been Blogger for just over a year now and It was something for me that was a very spontaneous decision and something I really had no idea where to start.

A lot of people I speak to say they'd love to start a Blog but say:
1. They don't have time
2. Don't know what to write about
3. Worries that no one will read it
4. Have no idea what they're doing

As I was in the same position a year ago, I thought I'd share with you my Top 10 Essentials of Blogging Beginners, to help all of you out there who want to start Blogging and want a helping hand of where to start and what essentials you need and where the hell to start!

1.  A Blog Name
Possibly the thing I found hardest about starting a Blog.
If you've been reading Styled by Charlie from the start you'll know it wasn't originally called Styled by Charlie it was called Pallettt.blogspot.com (my Surname), as I initially didn't know what I was going to Blog about or whether I was going to stick to it.
After I decided on a Fashion theme the name Styled by Charlie popped into my head one day and it stuck. I liked that it was perfect for Fashion but if I ever want to branch out into other subject areas - exactly like I have done - the Blog name still works!

2. Pick a Platform
I found this step quite overwhelming as I didn't know how to use anything but Tumblr in the way of blog platforms but knew Tumblr wasn't the best platform to start the kind of blog I had in mind.
I went with Blogger. Mainly because I'd heard more people using Blogger than I had Wordpress or any others. I found it so frustrating to get the hang of initially as I had no idea what I was doing. But with the help of Google and YouTube I quickly found my way around and I love it now.
I'm still learning and finding different ways to do new things on Blogger but I think it's the perfect platform for StyledbyCharlie.com.

3. Have a Niche
I think the main thing people always worry about when starting a Blog is that 'Will anyone actually read it?'. What I think is important for your Blog and your sanity when your blog first goes live is having a niche.
It's important for your blog so it stands out and is unique, but important for you so you feel and know you're doing something different in the big bloggersphere world.
My particular niche is my Black and White Theme across all my feeds on my Blog, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest & Twitter.

4. Design a Header & Logo
As a part time Graphic Designer this is one of my favourite things to do, but it's also a hobby of mine so I get bored of logos and designs really quickly and am always getting addicted to new fonts, always thinking of new ideas.
However with a Blog you need to try and find a Blog Design & Logo that's fluid, memorable and easy to use across all platforms and social media but also uniquerelatable to you and true to your blog.

If anyone wants help with Blog Logos or Headers I Design Logos so you can give me an email at styledbycharlie@yahoo.com if you need a helping hand

5. Get addicted to Social Media
This is possibly my main Blogging Top Tip!
Social Media is FREE, so take complete advantage.
It's part of everyones daily life now. We read Twitter & Instagram not Newspapers anymore, so make sure you're involved in it.
Theres so many Social Media Platforms to be a part of; Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat (Add me: CharliePallett), LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tumblr just to name a few so make sure you and your Blog have a Profile in as many platforms as possible so you can find your readers and your readers can find you!

6. Promote. Promote. Promote.
If you don't promote you Blog or Posts how is anyone going to now it's there?
How will I know that you've written a new post that went live an hour ago if you're not telling me about it?
The best thing about social media is that it's completely free, remember it's the only form of free advertising out there so make sure you share your posts with your following and get #hash tagging!

Top Tip:
Don't SPAM though!

7. Appearance or Content?
Finding a balance.
It's easy to get carried away with what your blog looks like and forget about writing regular posts.
But what I found the hardest was figuring out is if readers care more about the pictures on my blog or the content?
I'd seen so many blogs that had pictures and pictures and pictures with only a paragraph of writing.
Something I try to do is find the perfect balance between the two as I've found a new hobby for writing since I starting Blogging and we have Instagram for all thing visual so I do think it's important to have that perfect balance between content and photographs.

I like to stick by my;
Content Vs Pictures Rule:
1 Paragraph for every Photograph.
Unless it's a post like this - which I don't do often - which doesn't really require photographs

8. Taking the perfect Photograph
I do think photos are extremely important for blogs and it's great to write descriptive text.
However things are so easier to visualise with a photograph and I also find things easier to read if they include in pictures also.
As a part time Photographer, taking photos is also a hobby of mine as well as a part time career so I do love taking photographs for my Blog. I never used to mix my photography career with my blogging however recently after Blogging for a year I realised it's something I'm definitely going to stick at for many years to come so I wanted to give my blog a step up. So I started with a new look, new domain and new logo but I also thought it was the perfect timing to introduce new, and better photography for StyledbyCharlie.com.
I now use my Nikon D800 with my Nikkor 50mm Lens to take all my blog photographs.
This camera is what I use for my Photography Jobs and will be out of a lot of your budgets but that doesn't mean you need one of the same grade. The best camera to have for taking the best blog pictures is a DSLR which you can pick up for much more affordable prices that a few years ago.
I'd recommend a 50mm Lens for Blog Photos like the ones I'm currently taking and my Nikkor 50mm is my personal favourite which I bought of eBay second hand for a great price!
I'd also recommend having a smaller camera or Mobile Phone with a decent camera for pictures on the go for those perfect Instagram opportunities.
I like to take my Blog photos in natural lighting outdoors for simply to reason it makes me feel like I'm photographing as a hobby and not on a job in the studio surrounded by all my lighting. It also gives great photographing conditions as well as makes lovely natural photographs outside in the garden etc with stunning backgrounds.
I find it's great to check out other peoples blogs, stalk Instagram and Pinterest to get inspiration for New Blog pictures and photography ideas.

9. How to get in the 'Blogging Zone'
It's so hard to get your head into the Zone to Blog when you're first starting out as it's not natural or in your normal routine.
My favourite ways to get in the Zone to Blog is to start with the Photographs.
Getting creative always kickstarts my happy mood and once I've visioned what I want my photos to look I start getting creative in the garden with compositions.
Onces I've taken the photographs I upload them onto my iMac and get editing in Photoshop and upload onto my Post. Once the photos are layed out in my blog I pop a catchy kids film on something like Frozen, Tangled or The Lizzie McGuire Movie - or something else as equally cheesy but appealing - and light my favourite candle.
Which is usually The White Company's Pomegranate or Seychelles, Jo Malone Lime, Basil & Mandarin, Oliver Bonas' Ginger & Lime or Elderflower & Lime or my Soft Blanket Yankee Candle.
I then find I'm in the ideal Blogging Zone and find having the pictures already inserted easy to related to and help the flow of writing.

10. Don't be afraid to be YOU
I initially found it difficult to know how to write and how honest I should be...
Be YOU. If you're thinking something, write it! Don't hold back.
Don't be afraid to talk to other Bloggers, ask advice, ask your readers even.

Top Tip:
Don't be afraid to contact brands.
Ask to review their products or just simply make yourselves know to them and give out your details.
You're doing to PR Companies job for them!

I hope these tips have be helpful and giving you inspiration for your blog or maybe just a helping hand to something you'd not already thought of.

If you have any other questions, please Comment bellow as I'd be more than happy to answer them!

BLOGGER Q&A

28.11.14

He's my first Q&A asked by my lovely Blogger friends and the lovely Blogging community, Enjoy!

1. "Why are all your photos black and white, I like them but it's intreguing?" - @April_Todd

I'm quite a creative at heart and I love interior design, when that comes to one I love thinks to look appealing.

My addiction to B&W started when I fell in love with photography and from then on the love began and my Instagram took a B&W form and from then it stuck.

2. "What's your favourite highstreet brand at the moment?" - @SunflowerSundae

My favourite high street brand has to be Primark, it's my one stop shop on par with TK Maxx.

I love Primark and TK Maxx for their variety, from clothing to accessories and homeware too, and I love homeware!

I like being able to rely on shops for what I need, and I like knowing where to shop for a certain item, and most of all I love a bargain!

3. "Holy grail lipstick?" - @CopperGardenx

My holy grail lipstick has to be a toss up between my MAC Matte Russian Red for evening wear and my MAC Matte Velvet Teddy for daywear.

4. "How did you decide on a B&W theme for your Instagram and Blog?" - @DippyWritesBlog

I adapted a B&W Instagram well over a year ago now and I just love it! My signature photography style has been B&W for years now since I fell in love with photography.

When the request arose for my to start a blog, I thought; 'Why change now?'.

People loved my B&W Instagram, and no one else had a B&W blog, so I took the risk!

5. "What's your biggest pet peeve?" - @SunflowerSundae

My biggest pet peeves are a equal between repetitive noises/actions and (randomly) leaving the microwave door open.

6. "Who is your celeb crush?" - @HollyBobbinBlog

I'm a huge celebrity follower and I love following the celeb lifestyle.

I have male and female celeb crushes.

Female: Kim Kardashian, Emma Stone & Rita Order

Male: Robert Pattinson & Channing Tatum

7. "What made you start your Blog/YouTube?" - @ChloesWay

My blog was started after a constant persuasion from my Instagram followers and after a while I thought; 'What do I have to lose?'

My YouTube became a decision for me after meeting two of my dearest Blogger friends Albertine & Jess and after watching their videos and after their lovely persuasion and advice, Styled by Charlie's YouTube Channel was born!

8.  "Chinese, Indian, Pizza or Fish & Chips?" - @HollyBobbinBlog

Pizza, Pizza, Pizza.

9. "Where would you like to be in a years time?" - @ChloesWay

Blogging wise, In a years time I'd like Styled by Charlie to have more post on Interiors, Design and Baking as well as Fashion and Beauty.

I love more people to find Styled by Charlie and hope they're inspired in the way of style and gain confidence to express their style further and have confidence in style choice.

Any further growth, establishment and recognition for Styled by Charlie would be amazing over the next year, I'd be so grateful!

Other than blogging, I'd love to be in the process of getting my own house.

10. "What camera do you use to  take all your gorgeous pictures?" - @HollyBobbinBlog

I mainly use my iPhone 6 Camera however if at an event I will take my photography cameras; Nikon D90 and Nikon D800.

I do edit my pictures as a keen photographer, however that doesn't have to be difficult and can be done on an iPhone App like I do with all my images with the likes of the Photoshop Express App.

11. "What is the biggest obstacle you find when it comes to blogging?"- @ThePixieCut

The only obstacle I face when blogging is timing and arranging time for photographs and content.

As I work full time and blogging is a part time hobby it is difficult to find time to arrange posts, however I make it a first priorities as I adore blogging so much.

12. "What inspired you to start blogging?" - @Just_Jodess

I've always has a passion for indivualitiy, fashion and style and thanks to social media all fashion trends and style are so much more accessible to us now with Instagram and Twitter as well as fashion Apps too.

My inspiration for Blogging came from Instagram followers and the people I follow that helped the inspiration in starting Styled by Charlie.

13. "Do you contour your cheekbones, if so what makeup do you use and what tips would you give your followers on the best ways to contour?" - @MyDangerousObsession

I do use makeup to enhance my cheekbones but nothing complicated, and I don't use expensive products.

My daily makeup is based on a base foundation from MAC, powder from MAC and highlighter concealer from MUA, bronzer/blush from MUA and highlighter powder from MUA.

All I do is use my foundation and powder and a base to even my complexion which creates a canvas to build on contouring and blending.

I then use my MUA conceler under my eyes to my temples, down my nose, top lip and chin then blending.

Then I use my £2 Bronzee from MUA down from my hairline over the cheekbones towards the nose and putting a small amount of blushes the top of cheekbones to.

To complete, following where I put the MUA conceler I put my MUA highlighter powder under my eyes, forehead, down my nose, top lio and chin.

That is how I comtour my face, I'd recommend watching Tanya Burr or other YouTube makeup tutorials to complete the look in confidence if you're unsure.

14. "Do you enjoy blogging, or do you find it demaning working with companies?" - @ThePollyPocket_

I wouldn't say it's demanding, I'd say it's very time consuming for part time bloggers to fit it in in busy lifestyles, and I would had to let a busy lifestyle affect my blog content or effort.

I find it amazing that companies want to work with me and for that I'm really grateful.

15. "What has been your favourite Autumn/Winter item you've enjoyed blogging about?" - @ThePixieCut

My favourite AW fashion and beauty styles are:
• Turtle necks
• Fur
• Dark Tones
• Layers
• Auntumnal Dark Tonal Makeup

16. "Is there a blogger that inspired you to start blogging?" - @FashionIsBlack

Actually yes, I followed Sarah Ashcroft, Charlotte Fisher, Amy Valentine etc however the blogger that actually inspired me to start blogging was Zoe Barson of Fashion Signal.

17. "Are you a Full Time Blogger, if not would you like to be?" - @CharlieRose11

I blog part time inbetween my busy full time working life as I work in sales and buying for a furniture and interiors company as well as photography and graphic design on the side, so my work lifestyle is jam packed.

But blogging has become a full time hobby for me and I live and breath my blog and am inspired daily by new trends and styles and really, really enjoy taking the time to express my love for Fashion and Beauty in my blog.

18. "What are you favourite high street stores?" - @FashionIsBlack

My favourite high street stores have to be Primark, Zara and TK Maxx.

19. "Do you have any other hobbies than blogging?" - @ThePixieCut

Photography, graphic design and interior design are huge hobbies for me. I've been interested in photography since I was 14 and I adore graphic designing from logos to montages as well as a more recent passion for interior design too.

20. "Who are your Top 5 Bloggers for inspiration and why?" - @MyDangerousObsession

Tanya Burr - For her amazing YouTube channel of tutorials and vlogs, and her posts of Beauty, Fashion and Baking.

Sarah Ashcroft, Megan Cawe & Yasmine Chanel - For their unique styles and the introduction of new brands I'm not already aware of for beauty and fashion from high street to designer brands.

Megan Ellaby - Unique style perfection and perfect for ASOS lovers!

21. "Where do you get your style inspiration from?
Which social media platforms and which Bloggers?" - @Beth__Norton

My style comes from a lot of inspiration from vintage to new trends with a happy medium combination between the seasons.

The 5 bloggers above really influence my style in the way of finding the best place to find new styles and trends.

Regarding social media, celebrity fashion really influences my style and I stay up to date on a daily basis with new trends and styles to craze celebrity fashion and I stay regularly updated with Twitter and Instagram that really inspire my style and fashion choices.

22. "If you could only buy one makeup brand, which would it be?" - @DippyWritesBlog

MAC, MAC, MAC.

23. "What online shops do you like to shop in?" - @IAmAlishaWhite

I love a bargain and a one stop shop, my favourite places to shop for fashion are Primark, ASOS and TK Maxx.

For beauty I really only shop in Superdrug, as they have such an amazing variety of brands and beauty/skincare options as well as the best, best offers and deals, especially Frangrance bargains.

24. "Glam, wealth or fame?" - @AStyleDByBanke

I've always craved my future to be a happy one, if that happens with glam, wealth or fame aslong as my family and I are happy and healthy, I am extremely grateful for whatever comes my way career wise.

We'll have to wait and see!

25. "What's your must have beauty product?" - @IAmAlishaWhite

My must have beauty product is a toss up between my eyebrow brush and eyebrow powder and my trusty MAC Studio Fix Fluid.

When designing my Moo.com Styled by Charlie Blogger Business Cards I wanted them to be simple with information, yet effective with layout but most of all, shout something about me

Thinking hard about my designs and hard about how important business cards are for small piece of card. I decided I wanted my business card's to reflect 3 things; My style, my love for monochrome and myself.

For my business cards to reflect my style and my blog I obviously wanted them to mention my Fashion Blogger status as well as my hobby/other profession my Photography abilities. But also to somehow reflect the 'written by me' aspect and 'from the heart' aspect of Blogging and documenting my style, events, day-to-day posts and my personal style

Thinking hard how I can keep it simple, and to the point but reflect all of those things I started on my Logo

Starting with my Blogger/Photographer hobby/profession I placed them in my logo as a strap line with a strong and professional typewriter font. Then thinking how I can include my 'Styled by Charlie' title in the logo but reflect my 'written by me' 'from the heart' Blogger status with the use of a font... I went for a handwriting font reflecting my heart written blog with a simple but effective use of a just a font.

Using my new 'Styled by Charlie' logo, I wanted the details and information side of my blog to contain my logo but wanted it to reflect my style and my blog, so I decided to keep the details side black and white reflecting my Monochrome theme and also containing my social media links with just a simple black on white logo reference to each, and lastly my blog link www.styledbycharlie.blogspot.com at the bottom.

When designing the faces/fronts of my business cards I wanted them to reflect my as well as my blog and love of fashion. So what better to reflect me than a personal Style by Charlie (Charlie Pallett) Quote

"People come and go,
Fashion is forever."

- Blogger, Charlie Pallett

I found through life people do 'come and go' but fashion has been a real rock and a dedication for me -  and no doubt many others - to aspire, be inspired by and follow daily for something that's forever changing and forever baffling us fashion lovers with a trends come and go, but fashion will always remain

So with my quote and favourite saying I knew that had to be the face of my business card, to just shout me

So to further reflect me I wanted to create not only a monochrome colour to the face of my business cards but use Moo.com's amazing option to have not only one face, but seven! I love monochrome, so a black and white face had to be included. However I'm not a complete black and white person, I like to think and hope my blog and relaxed writing style show my colour side beyond my monochrome exterior.

So I carefully selected 6 other colours to represent me for the face of my business cards. With 7 total shades that I think represent my personality and me as a whole my design was complete, and I love them.

My Moo.com Business Cards arrived quickly just in time for my month of September Blogger Events and they went down an absolutely treat! Bloggers, brands and companies loved choosing their favourite! Some choosing their favourite colour, the colour of an items they were wearing, even the colour I was wearing so they remembered on Bloggers Love Fashion Week Day 2, "Girl in pink dress, pink card".

Moo.com's interactive business card experience is utter genius and have that aspect and being such amazing quality as well, is just a business card no brainer
