I recently went for the most perfect week away to Costa Blanca, Spain and it was incredible.
I'm a very forgetful human and nearly always misplace, forget or lose something.
So for me, packing my In Flight Bag is actually quite humorously challenging.
So with a holiday successfully completed where I actually (for once) didn't forget anything, for myself next time I fly and for other forgetful humans out there I thought I'd share with you my In Flight Holiday Essentials.
What's in my Bag?
As a lot of you might know if you've read my blog for a long time, I love Paul's Boutique.
I've worked with Paul's Boutique on many occasions and went to their amazing Christmas Party last year too.
So when we booked our holiday to Spain a New Bag was definitely needed for my In Flight Carry On, and theres not a lot better than getting a New Paul's Boutique Bag from their HS15 Collection.
I love Paul's Boutique's latest High Summer Collection and their website it so useful and easy to browse with amazing photographs and a huge selection.
I Immediately fell in love with their Mila Bag in their hugely popular Deco Style in Mushroom, Taupe & Patent Black shades.
It's an ideal style for an In Flight Bag and it's tall, with tall handles, expanded side for extra room, inner side pocket and a zipper too. But also, extremely stylish!
I'm a Monochrome lover, Obviously!
However, I also have a crazy love for Nudes too and this Mushroom & Taupe Combination of shades is stunning and can be use with any outfit because of it's stylish neutral tones.
The Mila Mushroom sidekick is the Carla Purse.
The Carla Purse continues to Deco Design and the Neutral Tones.
My favourite thing about this Purse is the size of it.
I carry a lot of things in my purse, and especially when on holiday too with all the different currencies floating around it, and you always find an overflow of change when abroad and the Carla gives you plenty of room for all those things.
It's larger than most wallets but that's perfect for me.
With so many card slots and large areas too store receipts, notes, vouchers etc as well as the essential change zipper pocket too it's ideal.
But due to the size, my ultimate favourite thing about the purse if the fact I can fit my iPhone 6 Plus inside it!
So when you don't want to carry a handbag everywhere with you and you own a huge iPhone like myself, pop it in your Carla Purse and use it as a clutch!
Perfection.
The other, and most important Holiday Essentials are of course Holiday Documents, Euros, Passports, Travel Insurance Documents and all the other scarily important items you can't live without when travelling abroad.
Although, due to my clumsiness I don't trust myself with any of these important items and get physically terrified of losing them, as I'm a pro at losing anything and everything.
So I picked up with amazing Travel Organiser and it really did save us for any of my clumsiness this holiday and keeping everything in one place is so handy.
When at the airport theres nothing worse than trying to rumble through everything in your busy flight bag to purse a drink or buy something at duty free when you can't find your boarding pass or anything.
With this Travel Organiser it's all you need to have at hand because everything in there in its perfectly organise slot, safe from clumsiness.
Other In Flight Essentials are of course your Cosmetics.
Whether you're flying short to long haul you always need a good moisturiser, exfolicator, perfume, hand cream and anti bacterial hand gel.
I use my Rodial Stemcell Superfood Day Cream as its ideal for nourishing and hydrating the skin when travelling, perfectly paired with the Nip & Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Cleansing Pads.
I also can't go anywhere without my hand essentials.
Emma Hardie Hand & Nails Treatment and Primark Anti Bacterial Hand Gel.
You always need a good perfume at hand to sprits you over when travelling to avoid any unwanted odours from creeping out anywhere, and my Kiehls Rose & Patchouli is one of my favourites and also perfectly fresh and summery for a summer holiday.
Finally, is my new little pal my Venus Snap Razor!
It's so cute and diddy and a really clever design with a little case too ideal for travel.
Please Note: All Liquids should be 100ml or less when taking them in your hand luggage.
Check with your airline also if Razors can be taken on board too.
Another must have essential when travelling abroad is a good trusty pair of headphones.
My favourite pair are my Classic White Swarovski Crystal Bass Buds that come in a little carry pouch too to avoid that annoying tangling issue.
Of course, a Compact Mirror, Travel Sized Hair Brush, Change of Tshirt and New Book to read too too!
I'm in love with my French Bulldog Compact Mirror from Primark, so cute!
One of the definite Top 3 Holiday Essentials is a decent pair of Sunglasses.
I'm loving my Calvin Klein Sunglasses from TK Maxx at the moment for only £24.99 too they were a Holiday Must Have Bargain!
If you're travelling abroad soon:
1. Have an amazing time
2. I hope this Hand Luggage In Flight Essentials Post has been helpful whether your forgetful like me, or not!
Be sure to check out Paul's Boutique New High Summer 2015 Collection as there are so many amazing designs and the Carla & Mila are available in many other shades and combinations too.

MY GUIDE TO MAKEUP BRUSHES
14.5.15
I feel like I've been round the Makeup Brush block recently trying and testing loads.
However I feel like I've finally found my favourites and my go to set I take with me everyday. As I know finding the right makeup brush for you is challenging with so many out there, I thought I share my favourites with you!
1. Angled Smokey Eye Brush - Superdrug
This is the least amount of money I've spent on a makeup brush however, is in my Top 3.
I use this brush for my Eyebrows with my Collection Eyebrow Palette and it's perfect and fine for doing your eyebrows however you desire. It also has a handy dual end too which is great for blending or for eyeshadow.
2. Pointed Foundation Brush - Real Techniques
I find this way too small for a foundation brush so I used it with my concealer for under my eyes and for blemishes. It's so great for under the eyes, covering dark circles and any other areas you need to add concealer.
3. Setting Brush - Real Techniques
If you use a liquid highlighter, this is your new best friend.
I use Seventeen's Liquid Highlighter across the top of my cheek bones, brow bone and down my nose and it leave the most perfect flawless, airbrush finish with the right amount of product leaving the skin with that perfect summery dewey look.
4. Buffing Brush - Real Techniques
Love to contour and highlight?
You need this brush in your set! It's the perfect blender amazing at buffing anything into the skin! It would be the perfect foundation brush also if you like that dewey finish an alternative to the Miracle Complexion Sponge, but for me is my little buffing pal. I use it to buff my MUA Bronzing Stick into my cheeks and contoured areas.
5. Multi Task Brush - Real Techniques
This is my favourite brush for the days I like to use face or setting powder, a blush or powder highlighter it so feather light and delicate to the skin it allows you to use minimal amount of product carefully, delicately and accurately to the skin. I also love to use this brush to blend and buff out another other areas of my makeup that need a delicate finish.
6. Blusher Brush - Paul's Boutique
This brush is perfect for any cheek product. Particularly the angle of brush makes it perfect for bronzing and contouring and allows you to create the perfect cheek and face contour, I absolutely love it!
It helps that the Paul's Boutique Brushes are so attractive as well, as us ladies do like pretty things!
7. Miracle Complexion Sponge - Real Techniques
As I mentioned in my April Favourites I didn't get the whole blending sponge phase at the start until I actually concentrated on how to use it, and it's absolutely amazing.
I use my Real Techniques Sponge damp, to apply my foundation, blend my concealer and blend my contour and it leaves you with the most perfect flawless finish that last all day long.
8. Brush Shampoo - Elf Cosmetics
I never understood how brush shampoo would make a different to using any other shampoo or baby shampoo to clean the brushes but this Elf Cosmetics Brush Shampoo saves me hours when cleaning my brushes and means I can clean my whole set in minutes and for the price... Everyone needs this in their makeup collection!
9. Pencil Case - ASDA
I'd been searching for the perfect makeup brush case for ages, and was ready to fork out for the Aspinal on London or White Company one until I stumbled across this perfectly sized Beige Pencil Case in ASDA for £1.50 and it makes the perfect Brush Pouch!

Since I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder I'm struggled with lack in routines and planning and craved a relaxed organised lifestyle.
Through years of battling my disorder - as mentioned in my tell-all Blog Post here - I've realised certain ways to manage my stress, anxiety and have created a level headed positive lifestyle for myself through years of practice and trial and error.
I get asked how I cope and deal with situations, as although my Bipolar is now maintained by medication and my strict routines and planning - as well as all my tips bellow - I still have bad days with it too, so I thought I'd share my tips on how I try to lead my positive and relaxed lifestyle to stay calm and level headed.
Disclaimer:
Disclaimer:
I'm not writing to say these 'tips' will or will not help you, but as I had such an amazing response and inspiring feedback from my Living with Bipolar, Depression & Anxiety post, I thought to all of you that were helped by the post, my personal tips of how I manage my lifestyle to maintain a positive, happy and relaxed mindset, that this may be some new ideas to consider to get you to your happy zone.
My Top Tips!
1. Maintain a routine
Before and during my diagnosis with Bipolar, Depression & Anxiety I always struggled with managing my stress without a routine as I've never really had a structured lifestyle.
I live in a very spontaneous family where nothing is really planned ahead.
Before and during my diagnosis with Bipolar, Depression & Anxiety I always struggled with managing my stress without a routine as I've never really had a structured lifestyle.
I live in a very spontaneous family where nothing is really planned ahead.
My tip would be try and have a strong routine that you stick to so nothing worries or stresses your ideas or planning and pops up out of the blue.
So you know exactly what is happening where.
Remember, you're the boss!
For example;
• Wake up at the same time and go to sleep at the same time
• Eat around the same time every morning and evening
• Try not to make last minute decisions
Try and leave yourself enough time to plan it into your schedule/routine and make sure you family and friends are aware of this
Last minute sprung decisions and choice bring on stress and anxiety for me so I try to avoid that and my family and friends are very supportive of this.
2. Have things to look forward too
This is a huge thing for me, I have to have something to look forward too.
Be it a Holiday, meal out or maybe just a planned movie night in or even a takeaway evening with friends.
I find this the easiest way to stay positive and smiling with something to look forward to, so every time I've feeling lower than the day before I can use it to pick me back up again.
Remember, it's about making you happy not about breaking the bank
3. Treat yourself
People say 'money doesn't make you happy', but treating yourself to something every now and again is something that we all need and as well all know, does perk you up.
However, I'd recommend in treating yourself to something affordable, productive and positive.
I don't go on a huge spree I just purchase the odd thing every now and again if it's something I'm been excited about for a while.
For example; Camera lens or accessory if you like photography that's going to be productive to your hobby, Makeup brush is you adore makeup, Piece of jewellery you've always wanted etc
Something that's going to benefit your daily life and be continuously productive to positive so it's not something that perks you up for a day or two, it's something that every time you use it or wear it gives you a positive feeling or a smile.
4. Do what makes you happy and content
It may sound boring to some of your but my all time favourite evening and past time is having alone time with my boyfriend watching a movie, TV series or comedy program in the evening with a candle lit, an occasional glass of wine with a huge duvet cover and some nibbles.
This is something I've noticed makes me really happy, feel positive and content, it's something I like to spend most evenings doing as if it works, why not?
4. Challenge yourself
This is something I've started to do very recently after feeling in a happy headspace for quite a while. I've decided to challenge myself in situations I'd usually avoid or struggle with.
For example; There are certain locations I really struggle visiting with my anxiety and tends to stem panic and anxiety attacks for me which result in me only being able to visit those locations accompanied.
However, recently on a good day or week when I'm feel positive and happy I've taken myself into those situations alone and managed to cope with something that would usually of put me in a very vunerable position all by myself, which is very rewarding.
Granted, everyday isn't a good day where that's challenge is possible and it's not always as easy as that but I've realised occasionally challenging myself with the situations that would normally be extremely difficult is making me stronger and more positive when faced with them.
5. Don't surround yourself with any negativity
Unfortunately, I learnt this the harder way but now it's my biggest tip out there, whether you suffer with an anxiety or stress disorder or not.
This is my biggest life tip and my favourite quote:
'Don't surround yourself with negativity or with negative people.
So you know exactly what is happening where.

I'm always hesitant to write these kind of posts.
I'm aware not every out there has the same every day challenges as me or the same disorder, however I'm also aware that a huge amount of people out there do.
If I can share my tips after years of battling with mental health and help just one other person out there with one of my tips to maintaining a positive and happy lifestyle, then this is all worth writing.
Obviously I have a many more things that help me every day, however I believe these are the most important ones for me and the ones I think are well worth sharing.
Please comment bellow if you have any other tips, if you've tried or plan on trying one of mine or if you're that one person out their I hope this post will help.

I've got some extremely exciting news, something really amazing to introduce you all too and something I'm really honoured to be asked to join in with; The INTERLACED Journey.
Fashion is ever changing, always innovating and always inspiring.
Where will fashion go next?
How will fashion keep innovating?
In what other way can we wear Fashion?
The answer is Wearable Technology.
Fashion is heading straight for Smart Wearable Tech.
We've seen Wearable Tech creeping into the every day, on our screens, Catwalks, in our magazines from the likes of Rihanna, Gaga and Fashion Tech Style Lover, Katy Perry who's performance outfits always seem to include some form of wearable tech.
With technology taking over and becoming something we use every hour of the day - and in my personal case cannot live without. Technology is becoming a huge trend that seems to have never ending possibilities and capabilities.
It's changing the way we organise our day, the way we think, - Which in my case has becoming thinking in 140 characters - the way we sleep, the was we communicate and even now scary things like changing the way we drive our cars with cars that can park and drive themselves... The possibilities really are endless, as well as a mixture of extremely exciting - and terrifying.
For me Wearable technology is about communication, ease, individuality, style and innovation. My perfect idea of wearable tech is The Apple Watch and I really do think this is just the beginning of the Apple entering the Fashion & Accessories industry and as a huge Apple fanatic I'm excited to see where and what Apple is going to come up with next...
In the mean time I'm saving for my Apple Watch!

Last week my boyfriend asked me to bake him his favourite naughty snack, Millionaire Shortbread.
So with a successful first bake complete, and it all eaten in record time I thought I'd bake again, photograph and share the recipe with you guys with my easy to follow 5 Step Recipe to the Perfect Millionaire's Caramel Shortbread so you can bake it yourself!
Ingredients:
225g Plain Flour
150g Butter (Cubes)
75g Caster Sugar
for the shortbread
150g Butter
1 Can of Condensed Milk
100g Golden Syrup
for the caramel
350g Plain Chocolate
for the chocolate topping
Step 1: Preheat Oven to 150 Degrees Celsius and Line a Large Square Tin with a Baking Sheet.
Step 2: Rub together the Flour, Butter Cubes and Caster Sugar until combined and pop the mixture into the lined tin pressed firmly together covering the bottom of the tin until tightly packed.
Bake the Shortbread for 30 Minutes until Lightly Golden Brown, before setting aside to cool.
Step 3: While the Shortbread is Baking. Heat the Butter, Milk & Golden Syrup string occasionally until all the mixture is melted then increase the heat, bring to the boil and stir frequently.
The caramel will naturally thicken and turn golden brown (takes around 15 - 20 Minutes usually).
Once golden, set aside to cool completely and pour over the cooled shortbread and pop in the fridge.
Step 4: Melt the Chocolate in a glass bowl over boiling water or in the microwave until smooth, leave to cool and pour over the cooled caramel and leave in the fridge until solid.
I hope you enjoyed todays Quick, Simple 5 Step Millionaire's Caramel Shortbread Recipe.

I've been so excited for my favourites this month.
I've done a lot of travelling and bought a lot of new products, so I think this will be hugely refreshing!
I've also rekindled my love for my camera this month.
If you didn't already know I'm also a photographer.
I've never crossed my blogging with my photography before as I've always liked to keep them separate, however after celebrating StyledbyCharlie.com's 1st birthday this week I thought it was about time to step up. Step up in my honesty to you guys, and my blog photography too.
So out came my child in life, my Nikon D800 and I hope you're enjoying the new blog photos.
My April 2015 Favourites & May 2015 Must Haves
Rodial Skincare is something I've been adoring this month.
Ever since I attended the Top Secret Nip & Fab Ambassador Screening with Kylie Jenner (read the interview here) and with sister brand Rodial being something I've always dreamt of I was so excited to try Rodial's new products.
I usually use Garnier Micellar Water to cleanse and clear my face of makeup every evening.
However, I've found a new love in Rodial's Dragon's Blood Cleansing Water.
It's light, cleansing, refreshing and does an amazing, sensitive job of cleansing the face.
It works wonders in great partnership with the Rodial Stem Cell Super Facial Oil which is amazing at hydrating my skin and has an instant effect. Rodial SPF Stem Cell Day Cream Moisturiser that have really giving my face the perfect 'spring clean' it's needed.
I've had nothig but comments saying my skin looks fresh, full and healthy.
My Nana even commented asking if I'd had botox, saying my cheek bones look difined and my skin healthy, saying I looked refreshed.
Recently I attend PopSugar's (Shop my ShopStyle here) Blogger Event Morning and was lucky enough to leave with the most perfect gift, a Marc Jacob's 'It's Not Rocket Science' Necklace.
I've been wearing it non-stop this month and it's such a unique, sassy accessory I just love it!
I don't usually wear gold jewellery, but with my Vintage Chanel Earrings this is the perfect match!
A Sassy Quote for a Sassy Girl!
I've never had the chance to visit Kiehl's propperly with my quick and last minute trips to London.
But last week before catching my trip from King's Cross I managed to pop into my first Kiehl's store and purchase my new favourite fragrance!
It was a toss up between this, the Patchouli & Fresh Rose Fragrance and the New Black Tea Fragrance from Kiehl's.
This time I feel like I played it safe, but the Patchouli & Fresh Rose is so unique, fresh and memorable and for around £44.00 for 100ml it was a no brainer.
However next time I'll definitely take the risk and purchase the unisex, unique, strong Black Tea Perfume too!
Whilst in King's Cross Station for the first time ever, as I usually travel to London via St Pancreas I visted Oliver Bonas inbetween waiting for my Trains Platform to be displayed.
As I now travel to London quite a few times a month I found it continously annoying to not have a Card Holder when approaching the Train Platforms and Tube Stations so when I stumbled across this 'C' Initial Card Holder in Oliver Bonas last week for £8.00 it was exactly what I'd been waiting for!
My Train & Tube Ticket worries are finally over.
Whilst in Oliver Bonas I stumbled across their selection of candles and fell in love with thier Ginger & Lime Candle which I purchase.
It has taken the place of my The White Company Pomegranate Candle which is the second I've finished and is lovely to find another alternative.
Oliver Bonas have many candle fragrances but Ginger is a favourite scent of mine I just couldn't resist this particular one.
I've never tried Stila Cosmetics.
I still class myself a newbie in the makeup world having only found an interest in makeup in the last year.
However when I stumbled across this selection of Stila Cosmetics in TK Maxx this week, I have to filter my way throuh it and choice my must haves prices from £2.99.
The Stila Smudge Crayon Liner which I picked up in Black &
subtle Pink are ideal.
The black for the perfect smokey eye and daily khol use, as well as the subtle pink with suble sparkle liner which makes a gorgeous base shadow and under eye shadow.
I also picked up 2 Eye Shadows which are stunning.
The first a trio with the most stunning Rose Gold Trio of shimmers as well as a singular Jewel Eye Shadow in Citrine (also one of my favourite stones!) of a bronze shimmer I can't wait to overlay over a matte bronze.
The coverage is amazing and it has an almost thick feel to it, however it's so blendable and the ideal under eye concealer.
I've also never tried Makeup Revolution Cosmetics either, so now you can get them in nearly all Superdrug stores and as I needed a new bronzer I picked up their huge Bronze Shimmer Highlight Compact and it's amazing and such good value for money for only £4.
With a Highlight, Shimmer and Bronzer Section it's great for whichever you want to use it for, however I light using it all together to get the best of both worlds with a big fluffy bronzer, blusher brush!
If you've been reading all my #StyledbyCharlie 1st Blog Birthday Posts you'll know about my Blog's New Look and New Designs.
The amazing illustrator Vanilllatte (Jasmine Hicks) created my new portrait blog header design for me I love it so, so, so much so I got it made into a iPhone Case design at CaseApp.co.uk and I'm in love with it!
Since I've become makeup obsessed in the last year I've tried quite a few Primers and I absolutely, absolutely love Elf's Primer.
It's so silky and smooth and perfect for priming the skin. I love it especially for around my nose it just glides over the pours and it works wonders with my eyebrow powder too.
Elf Cosmetics is so affordable with the best selection also.
I've also tried so many way of applying foundation. After hearing everyone rave about beauty blenders and sponges when applying foundations I bought Real Technique Miracle Complexion Sponge, used it a couple of times and I wasn't a fan.
So then after reading up on sponges more and more I read the most recommended way to use them is damp. Once I tried that, I'm hooked!
I hold the sponge under the tap squeezing it so it absorbs the water until it comes soft, I then squeeze the remaining water from it and use it to blend and buff my foundation into my skin, it creates the perfect flawless look!
Last week I attended the Very.co.uk #CANTWAITFORSUMMER Event in London at the Haymarket Hotel near Piccadilly.
Very gifted us with a gift of our choice from a choice of around 5 different gifts.
As I've found a new love for Skincare this year and hearing them raved about a lot on YouTube and Blogs I chose the Philips Cleansing Brush.
I love cleansing and love using new products. Using my favourite cleansing products from Emma Hardie and Rodial with my Philips Cleansing Brush is amazing, my skin feels amazing, clean and fresh afterwards!
Definitely would recommend buying a cleansing brush is you're contemplating it.
Again with my Blog's 1st Birthday Post (here) I also collaborated with the amazing Notebook Stationary Brand, Chroma Stationery.
I love having notebooks and items to write and plan with, what's better than a personalised notebook?
Chroma Stationery have a fab selection of notebook style and colours with the ability to customise them with whatever you like!
So I got #StyledbyCharlie's New Logo Design printed on my Notebook in Grey with Silver/White Embossing and I absolutely love it!
It's perfect for blog planning and recipe recording.
I've had my Vivienne Westwood Purse for a few years now and It's starting to show wear, wanting to save my favourite purse from ageing I thought it was about time to purchase a new purse.
So, with my Ralph Lauren Bag my Boyfriend bought me for Christmas I thought I'd purchase the matching purse for it too and it's perfect!
It's a wallet style with the Ralph Lauren Equestrian Print Purse with so, so many card slots and a see-through section for ID which is my favourite bit as I'm forever losing it and mixing my cards up.
Lastly, is something quite exciting that happened this Month when I won Indigo Memoirs Competition to Win an Anya Hindmarch Imperial Eyes Clutch Bag worth £900.
Yes. £900.
So I travelled to London and collected my amazing new clutch that I literally cannot believe I now own. It's got the coolest design and I just love, love, love it!
However, it being so expensive, precious and perfect.. I'm being very sensible with it and keeping it all wrapped up, perfect and pristine forever and ever.
But by golly it's perfect.
I hope you enjoyed my April Favourites and having given you some ideas for your May Must Haves!
